What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) are small pieces of data a website stores in your browser so it can recognize you across pages and visits.
What we use them for
- Authentication. Keep you signed in to your GreetScreen admin account. Without these, the app cannot work.
- Preferences. Remember small things like which property you last worked on.
- Product analytics. Basic, aggregate usage counts that help us understand which features actually get used. We do not sell this data.
- Payments. Stripe uses its own cookies when you check out. Those are governed by Stripe's policy.
Guest pages
Public guest pages (the TV welcome screen, the WiFi portal, the guidebook) use only the minimum storage needed to render the page and remember short-lived state like which card is currently showing. They do not track guests across other websites.
Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent the GreetScreen admin from working.
