Who this covers

This policy explains how GreetScreen, operated by Dossou Operating Group LLC dba Profixo, handles information about two groups of people: hosts who sign up for GreetScreen, and guests who interact with a host's welcome screen, WiFi portal, or guidebook.

What we collect

From hosts

• Account data: email, password (hashed), name if provided.
• Property data: property name, slug, wifi credentials you enter, guidebook items, guest store items, background media you upload, off-grid device credentials.
• Reservation data you import or that arrives from your PMS by forwarded email, including guest names, arrival and departure dates, and booking source.
• Billing data handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers; we do not store your full card number.
• Usage data such as pages visited and basic device information, used to operate and improve the service.

From guests

• Contact details a guest voluntarily submits through the WiFi portal (typically first name, email, phone) along with SMS consent status.
• Requests a guest submits through the Guest Store.
• Basic browser and device information used to render the guidebook or WiFi page.

How we use it

• Operate the welcome screens, WiFi portal, guidebook, guest store and power monitor.
• Send transactional emails to hosts (billing, receipts, product notices).
• Deliver guest contact details to the host that owns the property, including via webhooks the host configures (for example GoHighLevel).
• Prevent abuse, secure the service, and comply with law.

Roles: who controls guest data

Hosts are the data controller of the guest data collected through their property. GreetScreen is the processoracting on the host's instructions. When a guest submits their info through a WiFi portal, they are consenting to be contacted by that host about their stay and follow-up marketing the host chooses to send. If you are a guest and want your information removed, contact the host or email us and we will forward the request.

Subprocessors

We rely on a small set of vendors to run the service:

• Cloud hosting and database (application hosting and storage).
• Stripe (payments).
• Email delivery providers (transactional email).
• Optional integrations you enable (for example EcoFlow for power data, GoHighLevel for lead delivery).

Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage for essential things like keeping you signed in, remembering preferences, and basic analytics. See the Cookie Policy for details.

Data retention

We keep host account data for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and accounting reasons. Guest contact data is retained on behalf of the host until the host deletes it or the account is closed. You can request deletion any time.

Security

We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, row-level security in our database, and least-privilege access for staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. Email info@cedricdossou.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We do not sell personal information.

Children

GreetScreen is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

International visitors

GreetScreen is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the US.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced by email or in the app.
